Who is MTEE?
Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V. (MTEE) is a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) in Japan. The establishment in Almere has two divisions: Engine & Energy and Turbocharger. The first division engineers, markets and sells made-to-measure gas and diesel engines and generator sets for the region Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). As supplier of energy solutions, MTEE is preparing for a sustainable future and the energy transition the world faces, supported by both offices in Norway and France.
MTEE is also a global player in the field of turbochargers for the automotive industry. Thanks to the increasing demand for quality products, MTEE has grown considerably during the past years. The constant, high production quality of MTEE is mainly determined by the customer-oriented approach. Every MTEE employee does everything in their power to fulfill the wants and needs of the customer. We are the only organization in the Netherlands that manufactures and develops its own turbochargers. In doing so, we are involved in the entire turbocharger development process. We realize the concepts we come up with, developing our designs to actual turbos. This makes us unique in what we do.
Department:
The Finance & Accounting department is responsible for the financial accounting and reporting. The organization consists of a Turbo and Engines division, with branches in the Netherlands, France, Norway and Senegal, with their own reporting that is assessed and consolidated. Activities such as cash management, treasury and currency hedge accounting are performed in the department. Cost and investment budgets are collected, checked and compiled into a total budget under the responsibility of the controller.
Role:
The Business Analyst has an independent position and is substantively responsible for all activities related to Cost Accounting including Accounting Ledger. You participate in projects from the business, but also from the department itself. You also advise on and implement the financial policy within the organization. You are bound by planning and deadlines from the Head Office with regard to period closures, reporting, forecasting and budgeting, as well as laws and regulations.
What are you going to do?
• Perform business analyzes to optimize processes (operational, budget, cost and financial performance)
• Create management information based on the analyses
• Check and manage the department's KPIs data sets
• Facilitate management review meetings
• Support in creating annual business plan
• Monthly analysis and reporting of business results
• Provide financial reports to various stakeholders such as our parent company
What skills can you bring?
- At least an HBO diploma in Business Economics or Business Administration
- At least 3 years of experience in the field
- Experience within a technical production environment
- Insight into logistic and production processes
- Strong in analysis techniques, accounting, reporting
- Good command of the English language
- Solid SAP S4-Hana experience is a plus
