Who is MTEE?
Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe (MTEE) is a global player in the field of turbochargers for the automotive industry. Did you know that we have a 20% market share in Europe? That means that 1 out of 5 cars in Europe are fitted with a turbo that was made in Almere. For automotive to be able to contribute to global climate objectives, downsizing (a smaller engine with greater power, possibly hybrid) is necessary. Using a turbocharger is the best way to make this technically possible.

The role:
An Account Manager leads the customer account team in the different phases of the product lifecycle with the goal to realize customer satisfaction and new business.

What are you going to do?
  • Build and maintain strong relations with customers
  • Make the business strategy for the account based on long term customer vision
  • Realize customer satisfaction
  • Lead the feasibility of new pre-development projects
  • Review and maintain contracts with customers
  • Steer and manages the account team based on costs, activities, objectives and results
  • Develop the resources, methodologies and knowledge in the account
  • Manage escalated subjects
  • Analyse cost and profitability of the account projects
  • Control financial performance of development projects
  • Report all of the above to stakeholders
What skills and competencies can you bring?
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and experience in Automotive sector
  • Technical or commercial educational background
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Good analytical skills
  • Fluency in English
